Course description
In a broad sense the course consists out of two parts: (i) general microeconomic theory (focus on duality theory for consumers and producers) and general equilibrium; (ii) non-cooperative game theory (games in strategic form and games in extensive form) including games with asymmetric information and learning.

After successful completion of this course students are expected to be able to:
- Convert a given economic problem into a mathematical form and solve it using appropriate tools
- Apply the theoretical knowledge of consumer and producer theory to practical economic problems
- Understand strategic interaction and analyse situations of strategic interaction
- Analyse games with incomplete and with asymmetric information
- Getting familiar with microeconomic modelling
